Alekhya has experience in a range of corporate and commercial matters, including banking and finance and equity capital markets, with a focus on venture debt, private credit, funds, alternative investment products, and venture capital. She has assisted a range of clients, from start-ups to multinational companies, in transactions spanning across South East Asia.

Alekhya commenced legal practice in 2022 and specialised in dispute resolution (civil and commercial litigation, and arbitration) in well-established law firms in Singapore, prior to joining Icon Law LLC in 2024. Alekhya is an active member of the Law Society of Singapore, serving on both its Cybersecurity & Data Protection Committee and Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Alekhya graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2019, with a BA (Hons) in Law.

- Advised the purchaser on a US$4 million convertible bond purchase agreement in connection with a real estate investment project in the Philippines.
- Advised the purchaser on the acquisition of a Singapore-based group of companies, including ensuring regulatory compliance, in the early education sector.
- Advised the investor on a rescue financing for an early-stage medical services company.
- Advised the lender on a US$2.5 million facility agreement for an Indonesian group of companies, advising on financing terms and cross-border considerations across the group
